Does anyone know how to get the guitar sound that Starflyer 59 has circa Americana? I'm just a disgruntled folkie and don't know about such things as distortion and overdrive, etc.

try a jazzmaster for that fantastic dark jangle of MBV sound. a boss reverb and vox valve-tone help too.
